I’m happy to announce that I just published Confessions of a Hallway Hustler to Amazon KDP. They say it’ll up to 3 days for the review process before it goes live.
This little project grew in scope until it consumed a good chunk of the last few months. A valuable lesson is over-optimistic completion estimation.
Here’s the cover:
And here’s the book description blurb:
Hold onto your lunch money! “Confessions of a Hallway Hustler” is the rollicking tale of Anton Altanero, a foreign transplant with delusions of grandeur, navigating the wilds of a typical American middle school. It’s “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” meets “Scarface,” without the guns but with all the greed and ambition.
When Anton decides to recreate his lavish Luxland lifestyle in the humdrum halls of Jerburbia Middle, chaos ensues. From sushi Fridays in the cafeteria to polo in the gym, Anton’s over-the-top schemes and snarky observations will have you in stitches. Watch as he plots his rise to the top of the school pecking order, armed with nothing but his wit, a few misplaced morals, and an unshakeable belief in his own greatness.
Perfect for fans of satire, comedy, and a touch of the absurd. Grab your copy and join the funniest hustle in the hallways! 📚🤑🏰
Once it’s published, I plan to run a KDP Select 5-day free campaign, then run a BookBub ad campaign to see if I can kickstart interest. I’ll probably also run a Facebook/Instagram ad campaign while the ebook’s free.
The idea is to prime Amazon with info about readers who might interested in reading Confessions. This approached worked for Sneaky Twerp. We’ll see if I reproduce the magic.
